All of the Doggy Dooley Models are designed for installation in the ground. The Model 2000 and 3000 are designed for sandy absorbent soil and work like a miniature septic tank, utilizing enzyme and bacteria action to automatically reduce dog waste to a ground absorbing liquid. They have built-in overflow features on the side or close to the top of the unit that release waste liquid into the ground.
The Model 3500 and 3800 have a unique open-bottom system that has no need for a separate overflow device, for use in hard-packed less absorbent soils. It works utilizing enzyme and bacteria action to automatically reduce dog waste to a ground absorbing liquid. It releases waste liquid directly into the ground.
